The Brief
Internal remodelling to create an open Kitchen/Breakfast area and improve general appearance at the rear of the house.
The Solution
Existing Utility stripped and replaced with new Kitchen, open to Breakfast Area. Current Kitchen turned to a Pantry. New flat roof with rooflights, all new work to elevations, albeit modern, will be sympathetic to existing.
The use of natural insulating material (e.g. limecrete flooring, woodfibre boards, sheeps wool), in order to maintain the fabric permeability will lead to highly sustainable development.
